Why am I getting "Login From Unknown Device" message?

We updated our security settings on 10 September 2018, and this included a check to make sure that login was authorised. 

The first time users log in after this update they may get the following message:

Hi xxx,

We have detected that you or someone else recently logged into your Audit Assistant account via a different device/browser than the one you normally use. It is also possible you cleared your cookies or haven't logged in for a long time.

       Account: xxx (Demo & Associates)
       Login at: Monday, 10 September 2018  9:00 PM UTC
       Device: OS X 10.13.6 (Chrome 68.0.3440.106) xx.xxx.x.x

If this was not you, it is recommended for security reasons that you reset your password immediately!

If you get this message when you log in it should only happen once, as all devices will be "new" the first time. Note that the time in the email is UTC (12 hours after NZ time) - so the email above says 9:00pm on 10th, whereas I actually logged in at 9:00am on 11th.
