New paragraphs in Schools Rep Letter

The OAG have added in some optional paragraphs into their Representation Letters model for Integrated Schools. 

"The School section of the Auditors’ Homepage has been updated with the representation letter template to be used for the 2014 audits. Please note that the template includes two additional representations (highlighted green) which may be included for state-integrated schools, if you deem necessary:

- We also confirm, to the best of our knowledge and belief, that we have maintained appropriate separation between our functions and governance structures, and those of the School’s proprietor, in keeping with the principles of the Education Act 1989 and the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.

- We have provided you with all information, such as records and documentation, and other matters that are relevant to preparing and presenting the financial statements [including because the School is an integrated school, the allocation of voluntary and mandatory contributions, donations, and fund raising income between the School and the School’s proprietor.]"

We have added this option into our School Rep letter. Activate the paragraphs from page W2 as follows:

The first option adjusts the "Responsibilities to Provide Information" paragraph in the Rep Letter as follows:


The second option adds a paragraph to the "General Responsibilities" section in the Rep Letter as follows:
